14 year olds, stay the fuck OUT of adult conversations I'm participating in. And stay the fuck away from me.

Seriously. Why is it that every time some little snotrag invades adult groups, forums, or conversations and puts everybody at risk, they're always 14? What is it about that age that turns a kid into an absolute shit who's convinced they're the most mature creature on the planet? Does having access to PG-13 materials for a whole year really make them think they've seen it all?

Thank God the only link I posted in that conversation was to Wikipedia. Christ.

If that... person... has even half the experience they're claiming to have (not that I believe a word of any of it!) then someone needs to call Child Protective Services.

I should probably drop my membership to that comm and not look back. Some of the stuff posted there is pretty lulzy but GOOD GOD. WTF.

You know, if I'd linked to something other than Wikipedia, I'll bet s/h/it would have claimed that the source I'd linked to was too obscure. My point with that link was that the "out-of-usage" terms were still firmly entrenched in mainstream perception, to the point where even Wikipedia used them... and that flew right over their little pseudointellectual head.

But I'm seriously so freakin' glad I didn't link to any of the heavier sites.

This is true. I just felt a bit bad for the OP there... her whole point that people were flinging characters at her, and trying to insist that the characters were super-hot to lure her into smutting with them, in spite of the fact that their characters sucked rocks and she had no interest, kept getting turned around on her and made into something she'd never said by people using selective definitions. No idea who the OP was in all this, but she seemed like a decent RPer... and OMG I know what it's like to have people trying really hard to ride your character's ePeen when that's the last thing you want to play with them.

I snotragged early. I had grown out of it by 14. Of course, being a dinosaur, I had to snotrag in AOL chatrooms. Because there was no myspace/facebook/livejournal/twitter.

I remember when Yahoo was nothing more than a grey-background page with the logo and the search box!
