6/15/09 12:48 am (UTC) - ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) immortalje Adobe Updater is fun... during my practical Semester in the Tech Department of 3 local newspapers the Reader(?) updated (despite auto updates usually being turned off) and caused every PS Elements to stop working - the photographers loved it. In the end they had to install trial versions of a newer PS Elements until their order of the new ones went through.
As for creating .pdf's... it's easy to do that with OpenOffice. It opens word files and saves as word files, pdf's and I haven't tried more yet, but I'm sure it does tons more. Best of all? It's for free.
