sorry i didn't reply to this sooner. it's funny, after this post someone here was talking about the difference between your kind of rehab and ours. cos both are very important - we refer starlings/robins/crows/etc to people like you all the time. (we're just seabirds if i didn't say that before - ducks, gulls, pelicans, etc) so it's interesting that you have such a different experience yet it's the same vein of work.
